Care Instructions

All pottery made at Joseph Eckles Stoneware is made by hand. Slight variations in color, size, and decoration are part of the beauty of each piece. We work in high fire stoneware to insure that our pottery is durable, non-toxic, and sanitary. Our dinnerware is dishwasher and microwave safe. All glazes are lead-free. With the proper care, your Joseph Eckles Stoneware will easily edure daily use.

When microwaving:
Our stoneware is microwave safe but only if it contains food or water. Always be careful to remove pottery from the mocrowave with potholders.

When baking:
Place the baking dish in a cool oven. Be sure the food and the dish are similar in temperature. Heat the oven, dish, and food at the same time.

Never use stoneware pottery on a burner or open flame. Extreme changes in temperature could crack or break the piece.
